Artilerijos balistinė stotis nustato 100 mm ir didesnio kalibro pabūklų, 120 mm ir didesnio kalibro minosvaidžių pradinį greitį nuo 80 iki 2 200 m/s. Artilerijos balistinė stotis, kur dirba vienas operatorius, du kartus vieno šūvio metu matuoja sviedinio (minos) greitį. Greitašauda matuojant gali būti 5–6 šūviai/min. Kovos padėties stoties masė 50 kg, supakuotos – 110 kg. Stoties parengimas darbui trunka 5 min. atitikmenys: angl. artillery ballistics station rus. артиллерийская баллистическая станция
